A rare original poster of the Belgian Congo (Dutch title: Belgisch Kongo). Drawn by the Brussels artist James Thiriar (1889-1965). Published by 'L'office du Tourisme du Congo Belge et du Ruanda-Urundi'. Printed by Léon Beyaert-Sioen - Kortrijk. Edition of February 1951. This poster is indicating the different tribes/ethnography, animals (elephants, giraffes, lions,...), rivers and cities.
The poster is mounted with thumb tacks on 2 wooden slats. Some minor damage.
